President Xi attended the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China
Beijing – 1st October 2026 (MT Team) : President Xi pointed out that over the past 77 years, our Party has rallied and led the people in forging ahead. We have fulfilled the First Centenary Goal of finishing building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and we are striving to meet the Second Centenary Goal of building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects.
Since the start of this year, all of us in the Party and the country have forged ahead with enterprise and endeavor. We have formulated China’s 15th Five-Year Plan for economic and social development and started to implement it. We have effectively met various risks and challenges. The economy has made headway despite strong headwinds, achieved high-quality and innovation-driven growth, and demonstrated great resilience and vitality.
As long as we are steadfast in our confidence and pursuit of our goals, and press ahead with solid strides, we can surely achieve success for the great Communist Party of China, the great Chinese people, and the great People’s Republic of China.
