An International Conference on the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality was held in Islamabad, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan under the theme “The Role of Neutrality in Strengthening International Peace.” The event highlighted Turkmenistan’s commitment to peace, harmony, and regional security. Ambassador Atadjan Movlamov emphasized the historical significance of the gathering, recalling that 30 years ago, in the same hall, ECO member states endorsed Turkmenistan’s neutral status during the 3rd ECO Summit in 1995. He announced that Turkmenistan will host an International Forum for Peace and Trust on December 12, 2025, coinciding with the International Year of Peace and Trust, an initiative led by Turkmenistan and adopted by the UN General Assembly with 86 co-sponsoring nations.
