Conclusion of the SAARC Internship Programme – Winter Session 2025–26
Islamabad – 2 February 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : The SAARC Secretariat is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the Winter Session 2025–26 of the SAARC Internship Programme, conducted during December 2025–January 2026, with the participation of 32 interns from various Member States.
The Programme offered the interns valuable exposure to the mandate, objectives, and working modalities of the SAARC Secretariat, while enhancing their understanding of regional cooperation in South Asia. Throughout the session, the interns demonstrated a high level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and commitment in fulfilling their assigned responsibilities.
The Secretariat extends its sincere appreciation to all participating interns for their constructive contributions, as well as to the Supervising Officers and Coordinators for their valuable guidance and support, says press note.
As the Winter Session 2025–26 comes to a close, the SAARC Secretariat wishes all interns continued success in their future academic and professional endeavors.
