Ambassador Fernandez Commends Consul Alix’s Professionalism and Dedication
Islamabad – 4 June 2026 — (Adnan Hameed) : The Embassy of Philippines in Islamabad held a warm despedida gathering at the Ambassador’s Residence in honor of First Secretary and Consul Juan Paolo G. Alix, hosted by Ambassador Emmanuel R. Fernandez and Mme. Alicia Kalaw-Fernandez.
Fondly known as “Consul JP,” Alix was recognized by colleagues and staff for being hardworking, dependable, analytical, strategic, and an exceptional team player throughout his tour of duty in Pakistan.
During the program, Embassy personnel shared heartfelt farewell messages highlighting Consul JP’s professionalism, quick thinking, sound judgment, and positive impact on Post operations and team morale.

Ambassador of Philippines Fernandez expressed his appreciation for Consul Alix’s dedication and noted how his realistic and analytical guidance helped him better understand and navigate his posting in Pakistan, says press note.

In his response, Consul Alix thanked the Embassy family for their support and camaraderie and shared encouraging words for newly arrived personnel as he reflected on his meaningful service in Pakistan.
