Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Meets Saudi Counterpart to Strengthen Security and Bilateral Cooperation

‎Riyadh – 26 November 2025 (MT Team) : Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held an important meeting with his Saudi counterpart Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif. Both sides discussed security matters and ways to strengthen cooperation between the Interior Ministries of the two countries.

‎During the meeting, discussions were also held regarding resolving the long-standing issue of legal status for Rohingya (Burmese) Muslims. The Saudi Interior Minister expressed gratitude to Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for his efforts in addressing the matter.
‎
‎The Saudi Interior Minister expressed condolences to the families of the personnel martyred in the attack on the Federal Constabulary Headquarters in Peshawar.
‎
‎During the meeting, both sides agreed on establishing a training exchange program for police and paramilitary forces. It was also decided that the Working Group of the Interior Ministries of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will convene next month.
‎
‎Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that Saudi Arabia is like a second home for every Pakistani, and Pakistan takes pride in its enduring relations with Saudi Arabia.
‎
‎Federal Secretary Interior Muhammad Khurram Agha, Pakistan’s Ambassador Ahmed Farooq, Commandant Federal Constabulary Nazir Gara, Commandant National Police Academy Muhammad Idrees, and senior officials from the Saudi Interior Ministry were also present on the occasion.
