Islamabad – 6 June 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : The Embassy of Denmark today celebrated Danish Constitution Day with a reception in Islamabad, bringing together representatives from government, the diplomatic community, development organizations, civil society, academia, media, and the private sector to recognize the strong and growing partnership between Denmark and Pakistan.
Held under the theme “Denmark & Pakistan: Partners for a Sustainable Future,” the event reflected on the longstanding relationship between the two countries and their shared commitment to addressing global and local challenges through collaboration, innovation, and mutual respect.
Over the years, Denmark and Pakistan have built a broad-based partnership spanning sustainable development, climate action, trade, governance, water resource management, renewable energy, and people-to-people exchanges. This cooperation continues to evolve, increasingly driven by shared interests, joint solutions, and a common ambition to create sustainable and resilient societies.
