President Tokayev’s Visit Opened New Avenues for Pakistan–Kazakhstan Cooperation: Ayaz Sadiq
Islamabad – 29 July 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Kistafin, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Khazar Farhadov called on Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at Parliament House, Islamabad.
During his meeting with Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin, the Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq appreciated the Ambassador’s valuable contribution towards strengthening Pakistan–Kazakhstan relations and acknowledged his efforts in promoting bilateral cooperation. The Speaker also noted that the historical ties between Pakistan and Kazakhstan are founded on mutual trust and respect and stressed the need to further aa underscored the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral relations and fostering closer people-to-people contacts.
Referring to the recent visit of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to Pakistan, the Speaker said the visit had opened new avenues for bilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Kistafin thanked the Speaker for his kind remarks, appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for the peaceful resolution of international disputes, and stated that the respect, warmth and cooperation he received during his tenure in Pakistan would always remain a cherished memory.
