Major Husnain, Captain Samad to Be Laid to Rest with Full Military-Honours
PM Shehbaz, FM Munir Attend Funeral-Prayers of Two Martyred Officers
Rawalpindi – 13 October 2026 (MT Team) : Namaz-e-Janaza of Major Husnain Shehzad Humayun Shaheed and Captain Abdul Samad Shaheed, who embraced Shahadat on 12 October 2026 in a tragic Mushak training aircraft crash near Nawan Killi, Quetta, was offered today at Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi.
The funeral prayers were attended by Honourable Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS & CDF, Deputy Prime Minster and Foreign Minister, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Commander National Strategic Command, senior civil, military officials and relatives of the Shuhada.
The Armed Forces of Pakistan and the entire nation pay solemn tribute to the supreme sacrifice of these two brave officers. Their courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the motherland remain a source of enduring pride.
Shuhada will be laid to rest in their respective native towns with full military honours.
