PANAH Conducts CPR Training for Doctors and Nursing Staff at Benazir Hospital
Rawalpindi – 22 September 2026 (MT Team) : The Pakistan National Heart Association (PANAH) organized a CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training session for doctors and nursing staff at Benazir Hospital, Rawalpindi. Dr. Lubna Miraj, Head of Medical Unit-II at Benazir Hospital, had approached PANAH with a request to conduct CPR training for the hospital’s medical staff. In response, a PANAH team, led by Secretary General Sana Ullah Ghumman, provided hands-on CPR training to doctors and nursing staff at the hospital.
On the occasion, PANAH Secretary General Sana Ullah Ghumman emphasized the importance of CPR training and said that PANAH has been providing CPR training to individuals belonging to different institutions and segments of society for the past 40 years. The primary purpose of this training is to enhance people’s ability to provide immediate and appropriate medical assistance in emergency situations and to play a role in protecting precious human lives.
He said that PANAH will continue its efforts to promote CPR awareness and training among healthcare professionals, various institutions, and other segments of society, so that more people can acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to provide effective first aid during emergencies and play their role in saving precious human lives.
