Tajikistan Embassy holds Golf event in Islamabad to Celebrate 35th Independence Anniversary
Islamabad – 24 August 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : The Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Pakistan organized a golf event on August 22, 2026, as part of its activities marking the 35th Anniversary of Tajikistan’s State Independence.
The event brought together members of the Tajik diplomatic mission and Tajik citizens residing in Pakistan, with the objective of promoting a healthy lifestyle, encouraging sports activities and strengthening people-to-people ties through sports diplomacy.
The representative of Embassy of Tajikistan during his statement said sports play an important role in promoting public health, fostering a positive spirit and strengthening solidarity among compatriots.
Organizing the event ahead of the national anniversary carried special symbolic significance, reinforcing the values of national unity, friendship and pride in Tajikistan’s achievements during the period of independence.
According to the statement, it would continue organizing a series of cultural, sporting and diplomatic activities to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of the country’s State Independence and further promote friendship and cooperation.
