Maroof International Hospital (MIH), in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy, organized a Community Health & Wellness Medical Camp at Pakistan Sweet Home under the Maroof Community Program.
The camp was organized as part of the celebrations marking the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana of Thailand, reflecting the shared commitment of the Royal Thai Embassy and MIH toward community welfare and healthcare support.
The camp provided free consultations in Pediatrics, General Medicine, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Nutrition & Dietetics, and Psychology for children and staff. Health screenings showed that many children had common dental problems such as cavities and vision issues. Around 60% of the children were found to have dental and eyesight-related concerns, while nearly 40% required general medical and mental health consultations.
MIH Pharmacy also provided free medicines to all children and staff to support their treatment and recovery.
His Excellency Mr. Rongvudhi Virabutr, Ambassador of Thailand, attended the event as Chief Guest. He appreciated the program for supporting underprivileged children and expressed happiness over the efforts being made for their health and wellbeing. He also highlighted that organizing the camp in connection with the birthday celebrations of Her Majesty Queen Suthida reflected Thailand’s commitment to humanitarian and community welfare initiatives.
Chairman MIH, Chaudhry Naseer Ahmed, said the hospital remains committed to continuing healthcare support for orphaned and vulnerable children through the Maroof Community Program. CEO MIH, Mr. Haroon Naseer, appreciated the efforts of Mr. Zamurrad Khan for providing a caring environment at Pakistan Sweet Home and thanked the Royal Thai Embassy for its partnership.
The event concluded with an Appreciation Shields Ceremony, recognizing the contributions of the Royal Thai Embassy, Pakistan Sweet Home, and MIH teams for their dedication to community healthcare and social wellbeing.
