Rwanda Coffee Festival 2026

Islamabad: The High Commission of the Republic of Rwanda, in collaboration with the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB), hosted the first-ever Rwanda Coffee Festival 2026 in Islamabad, introducing Rwanda’s premium specialty Arabica coffee to the Pakistani market and promoting bilateral trade, investment and cultural cooperation.

The event was inaugurated by Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, Rwanda’s Minister of Trade and Industry Prudence Sebahizi, and Rwandan High Commissioner Harerima-na Fatou, in the presence of diplomats, parliamentarians, business leaders and a Rwandan delegation.

Emphasizing Myanmar’s rich civilizational legacy, Ambassador Wunna Han highlighted that the nation’s history stretches back centuries, reflected in iconic landmarks ranging from the golden pagodas of Bagan to the tranquil beauty of Inle Lake. He observed that Myanmar represents a vibrant mosaic of cultures, languages, and religions, a diversity that serves both as a source of national pride and as a cultural bridge linking the country with the wider world.

The Ambassador further underlined that Pakistan and Myanmar enjoy cordial relations, with ongoing cooperation in education, trade, and people-to-people exchanges. He added that warm community engagement and mutual interaction continue to foster goodwill and deepen understanding between the two friendly nations.
