Continuation of the Days of Tajikistan Culture in Pakistan at the Lok Virsa Cultural Complex in Islamabad

The Days of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan in Pakistan were held on 19–20 December 2025 at the Lok Virsa cultural complex in Islamabad in a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

Earlier, Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari graced the occasion of the opening ceremony of Pakistan-Tajikistan Cultural Week, with his presence, on 18th December 2025 at PNCA.

The event was attended by Federal Minister for Heritage and Culture of Pakistan Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Sattoriyon Matlubakhon Amonzoda, Mr. Huzaifa Rehman, Minister of State and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan, as well as government officials, diplomats, and artists.


The speakers emphasized that the cultural events reflect the deep-rooted historical and cultural ties and strong friendship between Tajikistan and Pakistan. The ceremony concluded with captivating performances, including national music, traditional dances, a folk arts exhibition, paintings, and traditional cuisine, which drew great interest from the audience.

The Pak–Tajik Cultural Festival Week is widely regarded as a new milestone in further strengthening cultural relations between the two countries.
