System conspiring against poor in Pakistan,Salman Akram Raja

The entire system in Pakistan is involved in a conspiracy against the poor and the middle-class (respectable) citizens, says Salman Akram Raja.

Salman Akram Raja, a prominent legal and political commentator in Pakistan, recently expressed strong criticism of the country’s systemic structures, alleging that the entire system is working against the poor and middle-class citizens. According to Raja, various institutions, including administrative, judicial, and political bodies, have been complicit in maintaining inequalities, making it increasingly difficult for ordinary citizens to access justice and opportunities. He emphasized that this bias disproportionately affects the marginalized segments of society, leaving them vulnerable to exploitation and neglect.

Raja argued that corruption, favoritism, and policy manipulation have created an environment where wealth and influence often determine outcomes, while the needs of the common people are overlooked. This, he noted, has not only widened the gap between the rich and the poor but has also weakened public trust in key institutions. The middle class, often considered the backbone of economic stability, is also facing increasing pressures from rising costs, limited opportunities, and bureaucratic hurdles.

Highlighting the urgent need for reform, Raja called for greater transparency, accountability, and equitable policies that prioritize the welfare of ordinary citizens. He stressed that only a fair and impartial system can ensure social stability and sustainable development in Pakistan, where every citizen, regardless of economic status, has the opportunity to thrive.
