SuperNova School Celebrates Record-Breaking Results at High Achievers Ceremony 2025

Islamabad – 20 September 2025 (Adnan Hameed) : SuperNova School held its High Achievers Ceremony 2025 on Saturday at the local restaurant in Islamabad, marking a grand celebration of academic brilliance and all-round accomplishments.
In this memorable gathering, 900 distinguished students were awarded an impressive 1,150 medals and shields in recognition of their outstanding results in the June 2025 Cambridge examinations.


The ceremony was graced by Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, National Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Tourism and CEO of the Centaurus Group, praised SuperNova for “setting a benchmark for quality education and innovation that uplifts the entire nation.”

Sardar Yasir, in his remarks, congratulated the students and appreciated the parents for their role in their children’s success. He also shared his personal success story, recalling how he began his career as a marketing officer and later went on to establish a shopping mall and the Mövenpick Hotel. He encouraged the students to work hard, remain dedicated, and learn from the life experiences and success stories of their parents.

A documentary highlighting the soft image of Pakistan was also screened during the event. In his concluding remarks, Sardar Yasir paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces and expressed appreciation for the recent Pakistan–Saudi Arabia deal.

Zohair Majeed, Director Faisal Town, commended the students and faculty for “a culture of excellence that speaks to Pakistan’s bright future.”

In his keynote, Navid Sultan, Board Member of SuperNova School, highlighted the school’s phenomenal June 2025 Cambridge Examination results:

– Phenomenal 236 straight A’s
– ⁠Incredible 2,090 A*’s & A’s
– ⁠Remarkable 3,090 A*’s, A’s & B’s

“These numbers are not just statistics,” Sultan said. “They are proof of what happens when talent meets opportunity, when determination is guided by inspired teaching.”

Sultan reflected on SuperNova’s phenomenal rise since its founding in 2013:

– Second largest Cambridge International School in North Pakistan (out of 300 schools)
– ⁠Eighth largest in Pakistan (out of 900 schools)
– ⁠Ranked among the Top 20 Cambridge schools worldwide, a network of over 10,000 schools across 160 countries.

He noted that “SuperNova is now the most renowned school for academic excellence—a fact reflected in the sheer number of medals and shields awarded today and in 85 Cambridge distinctions over the past nine years, including 13 Top in World, 20 Top in Pakistan, 28 Top in North Pakistan 23 Best Across awards, 1 High Achievement Award.”

While celebrating academic success, the press release also highlighted SuperNova’s vibrant extra-curricular achievements:

– 700 medals at the World Scholars Cup Islamabad Round, with nine students advancing to the global round in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and qualifying for the Tournament of Champions at Yale University.

Talking to our correspondent, student Ghadan Ghani from the F-8 campus expressed her joy over winning the gold medal and certificate in IG-2024 and 2025. Responding to questions, she said, “I aspire to become a doctor and I am highly satisfied with the teachers, exam preparation, and the overall environment at Supernova School.” She further added that she would strongly recommend other students to pursue their education at Supernova School.

Ameer Hamza, a student of IG2 (2024) from the F-8 Campus, Islamabad, secured the Silver Medal.
Responding to a question from our correspondent, he expressed that this was his first achievement at Super Nova. Ameer gratefully acknowledged the support of his parents, stating that they have been the driving force behind his success.


Another achiever, Valijah Moiz from A2 (2025) at the F-8 Campus, Islamabad, secured the Bronze Medal. In response to a question from our correspondent, she shared that she had been studying 8–10 hours daily over the past three months in order to achieve this distinction. She further expressed her resolve by stating that she will continue to work hard to improve her position. Valijah also mentioned that her ambition is to become a psychologist in the future.

– ⁠International accolades such as Ammara Khan’s victory at the Hippo English Contest in Rome and Hamna Waqas’s first place (Benjamin Level) in the KSF Grand Finale, winning a cash prize of Rs. 200,000.


– ⁠SuperNova students attending prestigious summer programs at Stanford, MIT, Harvard, Yale, UPenn, Cornell, Dartmouth, Brown, Columbia, and Princeton.

This year, SuperNova graduates secured 657 international university acceptances, including 32 full or higher scholarships and one extraordinary 150% scholarship at Harvard University—worth approximately Rs. 12 crore. Collectively, these awards represent over Rs. 9 billion in scholarships.
