New Sri Lankan Envoy Seneviratne Meets Dean of Diplomatic Corps in Pakistan
Sri Lankan Envoy Fred Pays Courtesy Visit to Diplomatic Corps Dean and Turkmenistan Ambassador in Islamabad
Islamabad – 1st July 2025 (Adnan Hameed) : The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Pakistan, Fred Seneviratne, paid a courtesy call on Atadjan Movlamov, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Islamabad, at the Embassy of Turkmenistan on 30th June 2025.
The Dean of the Diplomatic Corps warmly welcomed the High Commissioner and congratulated him on his new assignment as the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Pakistan. He also briefed the High Commissioner on the activities of the diplomatic community and the annual events organized by the Office of the Dean.
In addition, he outlined the coordination role between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan and the diplomatic corps.
High Commissioner Seneviratne thanked the Dean for the warm welcome and the opportunity to meet. He shared insights on Sri Lanka’s recent development progress and outlined key areas of future cooperation and action.
