Portuguese Film “SNU” to Be Screened at European Film Festival (Karachi) 2025
European Union Delegation Joins Portugal in Showcasing “SNU”
Karachi – 14 November 2025 (Adnan Hameed) : The acclaimed Portuguese feature film “SNU”, directed by Patrícia Sequeira, will be showcased at the European Film Festival Pakistan 2025 on 16 November at the Karachi Film School. The screening will take place in the Main Hall from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
According to the details shared by Portuguese Embassy, The film narrates the compelling life story of Snu Abecassis, a visionary editor and influential cultural figure in post-revolutionary Portugal, and Francisco Sá Carneiro, a prominent political leader and founder of one of the country’s major political parties. Their profound relationship unfolds against the backdrop of one of Portugal’s most defining periods of social and political transformation.
Presented by the Embassy of Portugal in Islamabad and Camões, I.P., the screening is being organised in collaboration with the European Union Delegation to Pakistan and Olomopolo Media. The event aims to highlight a story of love, courage, and societal change while promoting cultural exchange through European cinema.
