Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan Visits PTDC Headquarters, Pledges Full Support for Tourism Development
Islamabad – 25 July 2025 (Adnan Hameed) : Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, Prime Minister’s National Coordinator for Tourism, visited the headquarters of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) and held a productive meeting with Managing Director Aftab ur Rehman Rana.
During the meeting, Rana congratulated Sardar Yasir on his recent appointment and briefed him on PTDC’s ongoing initiatives and upcoming projects, including investment opportunities in the tourism sector.
The discussions focused on strengthening the institutional mechanism for sustainable growth of the tourism sector in Pakistan. Key areas included enhancing institutional collaboration, promoting public-private partnerships, and unlocking the country’s vast tourism potential.
Sardar Yasir appreciated PTDC’s efforts for the promotion of tourism and assured his full support as National Coordinator to help redefine and revitalize the tourism ecosystem in Pakistan.
