US Condemns Terrorist Attack in Islamabad, Expresses Solidarity with Pakistan
Islamabad – 6 February 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : The United States has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Islamabad that resulted in the deaths and injuries of innocent worshippers. Condemning all acts of terror and violence, the United States expressed deep sorrow over the loss of civilian lives.
U.S Embassy Islamabad Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker, on behalf of the United States, conveyed sincere condolences to the injured and to the families and loved ones of those killed. She stated that acts of terror and violence against civilians and places of worship are unacceptable and emphasized that the people of Pakistan deserve safety, dignity, and the freedom to practice their faith without fear.
The statement reaffirmed that the United States continues to support Pakistan’s efforts to advance peace and security and remains committed to its partnership with Pakistan to promote stability. The United States stands with Pakistan during this challenging moment.
