PANAH expands the scope of pediatric heart surgeries.
On behalf of PANAH, Secretary General Panah Chaudhry Sanahullah Ghumman handed over the first child for surgery to Dr. Qurban Khan of the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC).
Heart and related diseases are increasing at an alarming rate in Pakistan. More than 240,720 people die annually in Pakistan due to heart diseases and its treatment is so expensive that the common man cannot afford it. PANAH is working tirelessly for the treatment of such deserving people. PANAH has expanded its scope for cardiac surgeries of deserving children and has started working in collaboration with the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology. Now PANAH will conduct surgeries of deserving people from AFIC, PNS Shifa and also from RIC Hospital. In this regard, a formal MOU was signed with Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology. MS-RIC Dr. Qurban Khan said that we will work side by side with PANAH in this mission.
Secretary General of PANAH Sanahullah Ghumman along with Medical Superintendent Dr. Qurban Hussain Khan admitted a heart patient for surgery at Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology. PANAH strives for the best treatment of poor and deserving heart patients so that no child dies due to lack of treatment. Sanahullah Ghumman said that the management of Panah RIC is especially grateful to Dr. Qurban Hussain Khan.
