Pakistan Successfully Tests Fatah Missile

Pakistan has successfully conducted a training launch of its Fatah Series surface-to-surface missile, showcasing a range of 120 kilometers. The missile test was part of the ongoing “Exercise INDUS” and aimed to validate its advanced navigation system and enhanced targeting accuracy. This development highlights Pakistan’s growing emphasis on precision strike capabilities and indigenous defense technology.

This marks the second missile test in just three days, following the launch of the Abdali missile. These tests come amid escalating tensions with India after a deadly attack in Indian-administered Kashmir. While Pakistan has denied any involvement in the incident, it has cited intelligence suggesting a possible Indian military response.

The international community has taken note of the rising hostilities. Russia and Iran have expressed concern over the deteriorating security situation, with Iran offering to mediate between the two neighbors. Meanwhile, Moody’s has issued a warning that sustained conflict could endanger Pakistan’s $350 billion economy, potentially reversing the progress made under the $7 billion IMF bailout package.

The successful launch of the Fatah missile reinforces Pakistan’s strategic preparedness and defense capabilities, sending a clear message of deterrence amid ongoing regional instability.
