Pakistan, Czech Republic celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations at National Day reception

Islamabad 15 October 2025 (Adnan Hameed): A reception marking the Czech National Day and the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and the Czech Republic was attended by Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Minister of State and SAPM on Digital Media Fahd Haroon, and Minister of State/SAPM on Political Affairs Talha Burki. The event was hosted by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Islamabad.
The event was hosted by Ladislav Steinhübel, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Pakistan, and Dagmar Steinhüblová.
Ambassador Ladislav Steinhübel, in his remarks, thanked the Government of Pakistan and all guests for joining the celebration. He highlighted the 75 years of strong diplomatic relations between the Czech Republic and Pakistan, emphasizing cooperation in education, trade, and culture. The Ambassador reaffirmed his country’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties and exploring new avenues of partnership built on mutual respect and friendship.
The reception brought together dignitaries from the diplomatic community, senior government officials, business leaders, academics, media professionals, and members of civil society.
As chief guest, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui delivered official remarks reflecting on the historical strength and future potential of Pakistan–Czech Republic relations. He underscored the importance of partnerships in education, skills development, and institutional cooperation.
In his interaction with guests, Fahd Haroon expressed appreciation for the Czech Republic’s longstanding engagement with Pakistan and noted the importance of expanding bilateral ties in light of evolving global dynamics.
