Held in Peshawar on October 2, 2025, under the patronage of the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Pakistan Business Summit 2025 spotlighted the city as the “Gateway to Central Asia” and a rising hub of regional trade. Co-hosted by Nutshell Group and Al Baraka Bank (Pakistan) Limited, with OICCI as partner, the summit, themed “Shaping What’s Next,” gathered national leaders, policymakers, and business figures.
The event also honored Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rehman, Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, and Jahangir Khan, celebrating Peshawar’s spirit of excellence and positioning it as a key player in Pakistan’s economic future.
Acting President Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani called for empowering women and innovation-driven growth, while Governor Faisal Karim Kundi emphasized KP’s potential in energy, minerals, and tourism. Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb highlighted equitable tax contribution, and Muzammil Aslam urged regulatory reforms to attract investors.
