“Open Skies” Policy to Boost Pakistan–Tajikistan Connectivity, Says Ambassador Sharifzoda
Islamabad – 25 August 2025 – (Adnan Hameed) : Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Yusuf Sharifzoda, met with the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan, Nadir Shafi Dar.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the aviation sector, including the restoration of direct flights between the two countries and the expansion of collaboration in this important field, says press note.
On this occasion, the Ambassador provided detailed information on the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan regarding the introduction of the “Open Skies” policy at the country’s international airports, emphasizing that this initiative creates a favorable basis for further strengthening mutual cooperation.
