OGDC Mother and Child Healthcare Centre Khewari, Achieves EDGE Advanced Preliminary Certificate
The OGDC Mother and Child Healthcare Centre Khewari, located in Khairpur, Sindh, has reached a significant milestone in sustainable infrastructure by earning the EDGE Advanced Preliminary Certificate, awarded by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBC). The facility was developed by OGDC in collaboration with the Human Development Foundation (HDF) to enhance healthcare access for women and children in the region.
The certificate was received by Shahzad Safdar, Executive Director HR at OGDC, in the presence of senior company officials, marking yet another achievement in OGDC’s journey toward environmentally responsible development.
Recognised at the Pakistan Green Building Conference 2025
The announcement was made during the Pakistan Green Building Conference 2025 in Karachi, an event organized by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. The conference brought together policymakers, industry experts, and innovators committed to promoting sustainable, low-carbon construction across Pakistan.
By receiving this recognition at a national platform, OGDC has positioned itself as a leading contributor to Pakistan’s green building movement.
