Malaysia High Commissioner’s Eid Ul Fitr 2026 Message in Pakistan: Unity, Gratitude and Harmony
Islamabad – 22 March 2026 (MT Team) : In conjunction with the celebration of Eid ul Fitr 2026, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, Amb. Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, delivered a heartfelt message to the Home-Based Staff and Locally Recruited Staff of the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad.
In his message, Amb. Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan extended warm Eid greetings to all members of the High Commission, acknowledging their dedication and contributions throughout the year. He emphasized that Eid ul Fitr is not only a celebration but also a meaningful occasion to reflect on the spiritual journey of Ramadan—a period that instills patience, humility, and compassion.
He highlighted the importance of gratitude, encouraging all staff to appreciate both personal and professional blessings. Reflecting on the lessons of Ramadan, he urged everyone to carry forward the values of kindness, discipline, and empathy into their daily lives and work environment.
The High Commissioner also underscored the importance of maintaining a harmonious and respectful workplace, noting that unity and mutual understanding are key to strengthening the mission’s effectiveness. He reminded all staff that, as representatives of Malaysia abroad, they play an important role in reflecting the nation’s identity as a peaceful, respectful, and inclusive country.
In light of ongoing challenges faced in various parts of the world, he stressed that peace is a value Malaysians deeply cherish and must continue to uphold. He encouraged everyone to embody these principles and contribute positively to both the workplace and the wider community.
As a gesture of goodwill and appreciation, Amb. Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan also extended Eid food packages to all locally recruited staff, reflecting the spirit of sharing and care that defines the festive season.
Extending the festive spirit beyond the High Commission, the High Commissioner also conveyed sincere Eid ul Fitr greetings to the Government and people of Pakistan, expressing appreciation for the warm relations and hospitality extended to Malaysia. He expressed his hope for continued friendship, prosperity, and peace between the two nations.
In closing, the High Commissioner once again extended his best wishes to all and shared a traditional Malaysian greeting: “Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin,” a phrase that conveys warm Eid greetings while seeking forgiveness for any wrongdoings, both seen and unseen, in the spirit of reconciliation and renewal.
