“K-WAVE Festa” to Feature K-POP Performances, Cultural Booths and K-Beauty Sessions

Korean Embassy Invites Public to Free Cultural A Day Long Event “K-WAVE Festa” to Promote Korean Culture, Tourism and Entertainment in Pakistan

Islamabad – 5 April 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : The Embassy of the Republic of Korea is set to host a vibrant cultural event titled “K-WAVE Festa” on Saturday, April 11, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the SBC Lawn, Serena Hotel, Islamabad.

The event aims to celebrate Korean culture by offering a diverse range of cultural, creative, and entertainment activities for the public. ENTRY to all segments of the event is FREE, and no pre-registration is required.

The “ALL ABOUT KOREA” segment, open from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, will feature promotional booths hosted by Samsung, Lotte Kolson, KOICA, KOPIA, and HRD Korea. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore various aspects of Korean culture through interactive experiences.

Activities will include KOREAN LANGUAGE and CULTURAL PROGRAMS led by the King Sejong Institute, featuring introductory language sessions, traditional crafts (Najeon DIY), and Hanbok experiences.

The event will also host Hallyu Fan Club (K-Con) activities promoting K-pop culture and Korean tourism, alongside a K-Beauty promotion booth, traditional Korean games and food experiences, and showcases on Korean tourism and digital public diplomacy.

A special K-Beauty Master Class will take place from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM as an exclusive PR session for influencers.

The session will feature personal color quick tests and K-idol makeup styling demonstrations. It will be broadcast live on the venue’s SMD screen and streamed via Instagram Live and the Embassy’s YouTube channel.

The event will conclude with the K-POP Festival – National Preliminary Round, scheduled from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, which is open to the public.

The festival will include K-POP vocal performances by three teams, a special stage performance by a winning team from the 2025 competition, and K-POP dance performances by four teams.

The opening ceremony will feature a special K-pop performance by Faryal Amber from Pakistan Idol.
