Iran Clinches Sixth World Junior Greco-Roman Wrestling Title in Bulgaria
Sofia –25 August 2025 (MT Team) : Iran has been crowned champion at the World Junior Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships, securing its sixth world title with an impressive overall performance.
The Iranian squad collected 1 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals, amassing a total of 117 points, reaffirming the nation’s enduring strength and legacy in wrestling on the global stage.
Armenia finished second, while Azerbaijan claimed third place, both earning recognition for their remarkable skill, sportsmanship, and determination throughout the championship.
