Iran Security Chief Larijani Holds Key Talks in Pakistan

The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Ali Ardeshir Larijani, undertook an official visit to Pakistan from 25 to 26 November 2025. His visit marked an important step in advancing high-level dialogue between the two neighbouring countries at a time of evolving regional dynamics.


During his stay, Dr. Larijani held formal delegation-level talks with Pakistan’s National Security Advisor, Lt. Gen. Muhammad Asim Malik. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral security cooperation, enhancing border management, and promoting coordinated efforts for regional stability. Both sides highlighted the need for closer consultation on shared challenges and emerging opportunities.

In addition to official talks, Dr. Larijani called on the President, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, and the Chief of Army Staff. These engagements underscored the mutual commitment to reinforcing political, security, and strategic ties between Pakistan and Iran.
