IMCG (PG) G-10/4 Celebrates 23rd Convocation in Grand Style
Islamabad – 2nd April 2026 (MT Team) : The heights by great men reached and kept,
Were not attained by sudden flight,
But they, while their companions slept,
Were toiling upward in the night.
Under the venerable patronage of Chief Guest Dr. Khalid Maqbool Federal Minister of Education, IMCG (PG) G-10/4 dazzled with its 23rd convocation ceremony.
Among the eminent souls illuminated were Rabia Naseem Farooqi Parliamentary Secretary, DG FDE Syed Junaid Akhlaq, Hassan Saqlain Additional Secretary, Director Academics Riffat Jabeen and Director Administration Javed Iqbal Mirza whose gracious presence transformed the occasion into the tableau of prestige .
The atmosphere was set aglow with the ceremonial entry of the teaching fraternity, paving the way for the prestigious degree conferral upon 166 graduates. Among them, 40 outstanding achievers were honoured with the roll of honour and coveted prizes.
In the much-awaited segment of Prize Distribution, the stage acknowledged victors by bestowing accolades to those who excelled in examinations, alongside remarkable accomplishments in academics and co-curricular.
Highlighting the essence of excellence, Kirn Zubia from BS Zoology, Session 2020-2024 was adorned with a prestigious gold medal in attaining a flawless 4 CGPA. Moreover, there was a special salute to long-serving champions Zeenat Firdous, Sobia Naveed among the teaching staff and Zaheer-ud-Din, Mushtaq Ahmed and Bushra Yasmin among assisting staff, marking 25 years of dedicated service.
In a gesture of appreciation, exemplary teachers were applauded for their remarkable contributions to academia and allied institutional functions, fostering excellence in BS disciplines and intermediate. The event echoed with the names of Uzma Nazeer, Sumaira Qurat ul Ain, Farah Gul, Sadia Iftikhar, Zara Mansoor, Sabeel-e-Hafi, Zainab Khatoon, Fazeelat Hussain and Birjees Anwar epitomizing the spirit of educational excellence and Dilshad alone honouree from our support staff.
In a truly inspiring address, our Chief Guest hailed teachers as gardeners of brilliance and sculptors of destiny, and women as guiding stars illuminating generations.
He called upon our graduates to soar beyond the skies, bearing the luminous torch of Pakistan’s promise, hope, and future.
In a stirring address to the students, the Guest of Honour called upon them to awaken their potential, champion women’s empowerment, embrace the brilliance of innovation, excel in multitasking, and define success as the courage to conquer life’s challenges with poise and vision.
With far-seeing vision, the Principal Prof.Safia Ibrar unfolded the college’s voyage of purpose and promise, draping the graduates in words of blessing as they rise to script their own constellations of destiny.
In the spirit of academic camaraderie, the esteemed guests encouraged the students to embrace the path of hardwork and kindness, propelling them towards limitless horizons.
As the curtains drew close, the event culminated in a collective capture of memories and a delightful spread of refreshments, marking a fitting end to a truly spectacular affair.
