US Praises Pakistan’s Peaceful Diplomacy, Supports KP’s Development Vision
Pakhtunkhwa – 30 March 2026 (MT Team) : Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor House in Islamabad on Monday to discuss bilateral relations, regional security, and untapped investment opportunities within the province.
The high-level meeting focused on accelerating development projects and highlighting Pakistan’s pivotal role in maintaining global peace.
During the session, both leaders engaged in a detailed dialogue regarding matters of mutual interest. The discussion underscored the importance of fostering stronger diplomatic and economic ties between the United States and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region.
Governor Kundi emphasized that the provincial and federal governments, alongside law enforcement agencies, are actively working to ensure a stable environment.
Governor Kundi highlighted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa offers vast potential for foreign investors across various sectors. He reassured the US delegation of the government’s commitment to providing a secure and conducive environment for international business.
Consul General Thomas Eckert praised Pakistan’s peaceful foreign policy and its constructive approach toward regional challenges. He specifically lauded Governor Kundi’s efforts in addressing the grievances of the KP public and projecting a positive “soft image” of the province.
Furthermore, the Governor expressed appreciation for the trust the US has placed in Pakistan’s mediation capabilities regarding the US-Iran conflict. Both parties agreed to continue working together to solve local issues and drive sustainable development across the province.
