Belarus to recruit 150K skilled Pakistanis.

In a landmark development, Belarus has extended an offer to employ more than 150,000 highly skilled Pakistani workers, marking a significant boost for Pakistan’s overseas employment sector. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is currently on an official visit to Minsk, described this opportunity as a “gift” for the people of Pakistan, highlighting its potential to transform the lives of thousands of professionals and their families.

This initiative aligns with Belarus’s efforts to strengthen its economy through skilled labor and nation-building projects, while also addressing unemployment challenges in Pakistan. It opens new avenues for Pakistani engineers, technicians, IT experts, healthcare professionals, and other qualified individuals seeking global opportunities.

During the visit, Pakistan and Belarus also signed several key agreements to enhance collaboration across agriculture, defense, and trade sectors. These accords signify a strengthening of bilateral ties and a shared commitment to long-term cooperation.

The employment offer is expected to generate significant remittances and provide much-needed foreign exchange support to Pakistan’s economy. It also reflects growing international trust in the capabilities and professionalism of the Pakistani workforce.
