The Embassy of Thailand celebrated Thailand’s National Day in Islamabad with enthusiasm, attended by diplomats, officials, and media representatives.

Ambassador of Qatar, Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater, hosted a grand reception in Islamabad to celebrate Qatar’s National Day, attended by dignitaries and officials. He highlighted Qatar-Pakistan ties, emphasizing investments and future collaborations. He praised the leadership of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for Qatar’s sustainable progress. Qatar’s humanitarian contributions and bilateral advancements in trade, education, and culture were acknowledged. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to stronger economic ties and IT cooperation. He invited the Amir of Qatar for an official visit, reinforcing the nations’ deep-rooted friendship and commitment to mutual growth.

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Pakistan hosted a commemorative reception marking the anniversary of Victory Day, celebrated annually on November 8. The event brought together Federal Minister for Housing and Works, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, as the chief guest, alongside members of parliament, foreign diplomats, business representatives, civil and military officials, journalists, and Azerbaijani citizens residing in Pakistan.

The Polish Embassy in Pakistan held a celebration to mark Poland’s Independence Day and Armed Forces Day, commemorating the nation’s restoration of sovereignty following World War I. British High Commissioner, Jane Marriott CMG OBE, welcomed guests to celebrate His Majesty King Charles III’s 76th birthday in Islamabad. Mr. Ahsan Iqbal the Federal Minister for Planning, Develop-ment, Special Initiatives and Inter Provincial Coordination, attended as Chief Guest.

The Speaker of the Federation Council of Russia, Valentina Matvienko, met with the Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, resulting in a significant advancement in the relationship between the two countries.
