Finland marked its 107th Independence Day by reopening its Embassy in Pakistan after a decade, signaling renewed bilateral engagement. Ambassador Hannu Ripatti announced the move at a ceremony alongside EU Ambassador Riina Kionka in Islamabad. He emphasized strengthening ties in trade, investment, and human rights. Ripatti reaffirmed Finland’s commitment to collaboration and democratic growth. The event, attended by EU members and diplomats, underscored Finland’s dedication to fostering strong international relations with Pakistan and the broader global community.

The Embassy of Thailand celebrated Thailand’s National Day in Islamabad with enthusiasm, attended by diplomats, officials, and media representatives.

Ambassador of Qatar, Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater, hosted a grand reception in Islamabad to celebrate Qatar’s National Day, attended by dignitaries and officials. The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Pakistan hosted a commemorative reception marking the anniversary of Victory Day, celebrated annually on November 8. The event brought together Federal Minister for Housing and Works, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, as the chief guest, alongside members of parliament, foreign diplomats, business representatives, civil and military officials, journalists, and Azerbaijani citizens residing in Pakistan.
