a 25-year-old Palestinian Photojournalist shook the world with his lens

Photography was a passion for the 25 year old Palestinain , Motaz Azaiza, and it was his way of communicating the beauty of life. Until one day, his friend Mohammed, who was later killed by an Israeli sniper while waiting for a flour truck. That day onwards, he set forth to capture the unseen toll of war on the human lives. He was not just clicking away, is every image was a story screaming for help. Today, with over 18 million followers on Instagram and has become the international figure calling for action. He lost 25 members of his family in one day. “Everyday I’m losing more and what I succeeded to achieve is nothing compared to my losses”. GQ Middle East named him as the “Man of Year” 2023 and with scores of interviews with international media, Azaiza continues to urges for help for people of Palestine.

"City On The Move" underscores the lack of safe public spaces for women in male-dominated urban areas. Through illustrations, it depicts the daily struggles Pakistani women face navigating the city and examines how different genders and demographics experience urban life, revealing how freedom for some may feel limiting for others.
