Tajikistan’s Ambassador Sharifzoda meet with Defence Minister of Pakistan
Islamabad – 9 October 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : A meeting was held between Yusuf Sharifzoda, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for Defence of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on October 8, 2026.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
The two sides emphasized the importance of further strengthening friendly relations and expanding multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
They also expressed their readiness to continue dialogue and enhance mutually beneficial cooperation in areas of shared interest.The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding.
