2026 China International Travel Mart Global Exhibition Recruitment Officially Launched
Beijing – 10 October 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : The 2026 China International Travel Mart (CITM), hosted by China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, will open on 12 December 2026 in Haikou, Hainan, China, reported by Li & Liu from China.
With the theme “Nihao! China” (Hello! China), this year’s event will cover an exhibition area of 65,000 square metres, featuring one reception pavilion and four themed exhibition zones: the Domestic Exhibition Zone, International Exhibition Zone, Sunshine Hainan Zone, and Innovation and Development Zone.
The 2026 CITM is expected to attract cultural and tourism organisations and enterprises from more than 100 countries and regions. More than 800 international buyers and 500 domestic buyers are expected to participate in B2B professional meetings, dedicated business matchmaking sessions, and open networking discussions.
To enhance the effectiveness of participation and promote high-quality inbound tourism development across China, the organisers warmly invite provincial, autonomous regional and municipal departments of culture and tourism to organise tourism enterprises within their jurisdictions. They are encouraged to showcase distinctive, high-quality inbound tourism products and itineraries, as well as innovative cultural and tourism projects.
New products, technologies and innovative projects with significant potential to promote international and domestic industry partnerships and two-way tourist exchanges may also have the opportunity to participate in the “CITM Global Cultural and Tourism Innovation Product Launch Event”, following recommendations from the relevant provincial-level culture and tourism departments.
