US Opens “Innovation Hive” to Support Pakistani Entrepreneurs in Promoting Mutual Prosperity
Islamabad – 21 September 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : The U.S. Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) today inaugurated the “Innovation Hive,” a new space at USEFP Islamabad built to turn business ideas into lasting success. The Innovation Hive gives Pakistan’s emerging entrepreneurs direct access to American expertise, technology, and networks, creating a base where innovative ideas can grow into thriving companies that benefit both countries.
Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker and Federal Minister of IT Shaza Fatima cut the ribbon in an inauguration ceremony, marking an important step forward in U.S.-Pakistan commercial cooperation. “Talent exists everywhere in Pakistan; it just needs a place where opportunity can find it. That’s what the Innovation Hive is for. This partnership reflects President Trump’s vision that America’s relationships abroad should deliver real results, more trade, more investment, and more prosperity for both our countries. Over its first year, the Innovation Hive will connect over 250 American mentors with entrepreneurs at every stage, and the U.S. government will invest to support top Pakistani entrepreneurs, says press note. For decades, USEFP has opened doors for Pakistani students to study in America. Today, it opens a new door, one that lets Pakistan’s entrepreneurs build their futures,” said Chargé d’Affaires Baker.
The launch reflects a broader truth about the U.S.-Pakistan relationship: When American expertise meets Pakistani talent, both countries win. Each month, the Innovation Hive will offer “Links and Leads” sessions, bringing entrepreneurs together with mentors and peers to build the relationships that fuel real growth. There will be regular “demo days” to give Pakistani startups a stage to showcase their products and ideas to a wider audience. Online certificate programs will round out the offering, sharpening the practical business skills founders need to compete and win.
