Japanese Ambassador Congratulates Newly Elected MAAP Office-Bearers in Lahore
Islamabad – 3 September 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : The Ambassador of Japan jo Pakistan AKAMATSU Shuichi, attended the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected Executive Committee of the MEXT Alumni Association of Pakistan (MAAP) Lahore Regional Chapter.
As Chief Guest, Ambassador AKAMATSU administered the oath to the newly elected office-bearers and congratulated them on assuming their new responsibilities, says press note.
MAAP brings together Pakistani scholars and professionals who have studied in Japan under the MEXT Scholarship Program and serve as an important bridge between Japan and Pakistan.
The Embassy of Japan looks forward to continued cooperation with MAAP, and its members in further strengthening the longstanding friendship and educational ties between the two countries.
