Russian Embassy Announces Cross-Cultural Art Competition for Pakistani-Children
Islamabad – 3 September 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : The Russian State Children’s Library, in collaboration with the Embassy of Russia in Pakistan, has announced the International Cross-Cultural Children’s Art Competition, titled “What Do You Know About Russia? What Do You Know About Pakistan?”
According to the received information, The children aged 6 to 14 from both countries can participate in two age categories: 6–10 and 11–14 years. Entries will be accepted electronically from September 1 to November 30, 2026.
Pakistani children are invited to create artworks about Russia, while Russian participants will present their artistic vision of Pakistan. The themes may include nature, cities, literature, traditions, holidays, national costumes and everyday life.
The initiative aims to promote cultural understanding, friendship and people-to-people connections between the younger generations of Pakistan and Russia through art. The competition results will be announced in February 2027.
