KOICA Briefs Korean Ambassador on Development Projects in Pakistan
Islamabad – 29 August 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : On Friday, August 28, 2026, Ambassador Han Seung-ho of the Republic of Korea visited the KOICA Pakistan office.
During the visit, he had the opportunity to share the main business and operational status of the KOICA Pakistan office, as well as the current status of the Pakistan cooperation strategy and major development cooperation projects, says press note. In particular, he introduced the progress of various projects and training activities, including the results of major completed projects and the current status of ongoing projects and training activities.
He also shared the safety management status of KOICA dispatched personnel working in Pakistan and discussed key issues for ensuring safety and stable operations in the local environment.
In addition, we exchanged views on the direction and expansion of cooperation with KOICA’s development cooperation projects, based on the demand for development cooperation in Pakistan and the direction of our government’s cooperation, and reaffirmed the importance of continued cooperation.
The KOICA Pakistan Office will continue to closely communicate with key partners, including the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Pakistan, and will do its best to promote sustainable development in Pakistan and enhance friendly cooperation between the two countries.
