Portuguese Ambassador Visits Lahore Chamber to Foster Stronger Economic Partnerships
LCCI, Portuguese Envoy Discuss Expanding Trade, Investment and Business Partnerships
Lahore: 7 July 2026 (MT team) : The Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan, Paulo Domingues, visited the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on 6 July 2026, where he met with LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Portugal and Pakistan.

The meeting was also attended by Honorary Consul of Portugal Iftikhar Firoz, LCCI Vice President Khurram Lodhi, former Senior Vice President Zafar Mehmood Chaudhry, and Executive Committee Members.
The meeting provided an opportunity to explore new avenues for business collaboration, promote trade exchanges, and encourage stronger linkages between the private sectors of both countries.

Discussions focused on expanding commercial ties, facilitating investment opportunities, and enhancing cooperation in sectors of mutual interest.
