Rana Mashood Inaugurates China-Pakistan Postal and Courier Workshop at NAVTTC
Islamabad – 12 May 2026 (Adnan Hameed ) : On May 12, 2026, the China-Pakistan Postal and Courier Workshop (Center of Excellence) was officially inaugurated and put into operation in Islamabad, Pakistan. This marks another landmark “small yet beautiful” cooperation outcome in deepening industry-education integration, school-enterprise collaboration, and people-to-people ties under the framework of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of China-Pakistan diplomatic relations.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests from both sides, including Chief guest Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) of Pakistan, Muhammad Aamir Jan, Director General of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) of Pakistan, Brigadier Sajjd Mehoomd Khohkhar Chairperson of Punjab TEVTA, Nadeem Khalid Dean of NUTECH Skills Development Department of NUTECH University, Dr Xu Xiaozhao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shijiazhuang Posts and Telecommunications Technical College, Wang Peng, Managing Director of ITMC Technology Co., Ltd., Max Ma Founder & CEO of UNI International, Cui Ru, Head of CCTV news of China Media Group, Wang Lei , Director of CGTN Urdu, China Media Group as well as other China-Pakistan friendship advocates.

The workshop, jointly supported by Chinese and Pakistani institutions, will introduce China’s advanced vocational education standards in postal and courier services, e-commerce, and related digital skills.

This includes professional curricula, localized teacher training programs, teaching equipment, examination and assessment software, and vocational certification systems. It will provide systematic skills training for Pakistani youth while delivering high-caliber technical talents to Chinese enterprises operating under the Belt and Road Initiative in Pakistan. The project not only fills the gap in vocational education for the postal and courier sector in Pakistan but also serves as a bridge for China-Pakistan people-to-people connectivity, embodying the cooperation philosophy of “small yet beautiful, people-centered and benefit-driven”.

As the core implementing partner, UNI International stated: “Telling China’s stories well, promoting Chinese culture, and leveraging China’s vocational education to serve China’s major-country diplomacy are the shared mission, responsibility, and commitment of our China-Pakistan team.
