lectionPakistan Post Resumes International Mail Booking to 188 Destinations
Islamabad – 30 April, 2026 (MT team) : Pakistan Post has resumed booking of international outbound mail to 188 destinations with immediate effect. The service was temporarily suspended due to the Middle East War Crisis.
As per circular issued by Additional Director General Pakistan Post, Maqsood Ahmed that arrangements have been made with 7 international transit hubs to ensure smooth transportation of Pakistan-origin mail: Azerpost via Baku, Emirates Post via Dubai, Pos Malaysia via Kuala Lumpur, Turkish Post via Istanbul, PostNL via Amsterdam, Australia Post via Sydney, and China Post via Beijing. Direct flight connectivity through Pakistan International Airlines is also available for some destinations.
However, booking remains suspended for 19 destinations including Afghanistan, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, India, Kuwait, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and Yemen. Services to these countries will resume gradually as suitable arrangements are finalized.
