MoU signed between Jazz and NUTECH to Strengthen Industry–Academia Linkages
Islamabad – 20 April 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : A delegation from NUTECH, headed by Pro-Rector NORIC, visited Pakistan Mobile Communications Limited (Jazz) to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening structured industry–academia collaboration.
The MoU outlines cooperation in innovation, applied research and skills development to enhance industrial competitiveness in Pakistan.
NUTECH will share innovative ideas, student projects and research outputs, while Jazz will provide mentorship, technical guidance and market insights to support startups and innovation teams.
Both organizations will collaborate on industry-relevant research initiatives, seminars, workshops and technology-focused engagements, says press note. The partnership also includes professional training programs, certifications and workforce upskilling initiatives in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and data science.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing technology, innovation, and human capital development in Pakistan.
