FM Dar, Araghchi Agree on Continued Engagement for Regional Harmony

Islamabad – 19 April 2026 (MT Team): Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar spoke Sunday afternoon with Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araghchi.

DPM/FM emphasized the need for continued dialogue and engagement as essential to resolving the current issues as soon as possible for promoting the peace and stability in the region and beyond, says MoFA press note.

Both leaders agreed to remain in close contact and also concurred on a phone call between the President of Iran and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, later on Sunday.
