Pakistan’s commitment to peace praised by Antonio Guterres in discussion with FM Ishaq Dar
Islamabad – 14 April 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : DPM/FM Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received a call from UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres today.
The SG appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in convening the Islamabad talks and commended the DPM/FM’s efforts in advancing regional peace, says MoFA press note. He also expressed the UN’s full support to Pakistan’s continued efforts in this regard.
DPM/FM reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting dialogue and diplomacy for peace and stability in the region.
