Minister Tarar, Tajik Envoy Discuss Future Roadmap for Bilateral Relations

Pakistan, Tajikistan Pledge to Deepen Cooperation Across Legal Sectors

Islamabad – 1st April 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : A meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Yusuf Sharifzoda, and Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Federal Minister for Law and Justice of Pakistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan. Particular attention was paid to cooperation in the fields of human rights protection, the legal framework, exchange of experience, and strengthening relations between the relevant institutions.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of developing ties between the respective structures of the two countries and expressed their interest in maintaining regular contacts.
