Portuguese Ambassador-Designate Begins Diplomatic Outreach in Islamabad
Dean of Diplomatic Corps Atadjan Movlamov Congratulates newly arrived Portuguese Envoy Paulo Domingues on His New Assignment
Islamabad – 26 March 2026 (Adnan Hameed) : The Ambassador of Portugal-designate to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Paulo Domingues, paid a courtesy call this Wednesday, March 25, on the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Islamabad, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Atadjan Movlamov.
During the meeting, Ambassador Movlamov warmly congratulated the Portuguese diplomat on his appointment, expressing his best wishes for a successful and productive mission in Pakistan.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on the functioning of the Diplomatic Corps in Islamabad, as well as on relations with Pakistani public and private entities.
According to the press note, both sides reiterated their interest in maintaining regular dialogue and close cooperation within the diplomatic community.
