Embassy of Pakistan Bangkok commemorates Kashmir Solidarity Day 2026

Bangkok – 2 February 2026 (MT Team) : The Embassy of Pakistan in Bangkok marked Kashmir Solidarity Day 2026 at the Jinnah Hall, reaffirming support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self‑determination in the face of ongoing Indian repression.
On this Solidarity Day, Ambassador of Pakistan Rukhsana Afzaal and Asif Bhatti, Community/Visa Counselor, addressed the gathering. In their speeches, they reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self‑determination, highlighted the importance of international awareness, and called upon the community to remain steadfast in advocating for justice and human rights.
On this occasion, the President of Overseas Pakistani Thai Association (OPATH), Abdul Ghaffar Warsi, along with Executive Committee Members, Rashid Khan, Mumtaz Ali Khattak, Azhar Virk, Dr. Chanan Dalai, Qamar and Azam Khan attended the event, says press note.
In addition, the participation of Thai academics, the Pakistani community, and students reflects a shared spirit of solidarity.
